In case you haven’t heard, 6 weeks ago we moved from MN to the Chicago area. It’s been a huge adjustment, but we have loved it so far. Our kids are loving their new school, and our two little ones even started going to part time daycare for the first time ever! (still unsure how I feel about that) There is so much more to do here, that it is kind of overwhelming! Before we moved here, we lived in Zumbrota, a quaint little town of 3,000 where everyone knows everyone. I adored that city. But being 30 miles to the nearest Target or coffee shop started to get old. Now here in Orland Park, it’s kind of dangerous! We have multiple yummy restaurants, coffee shops, ice cream places…and my favorite stores…within walking distance. It’s SO fun!
However, with our big move, meant moving my business. For 5 years I steadily built an amazing clientele and a dream business. So, one week after our move here, I made a trip back to MN to photograph Noah! I also did Noah’s big sister’s newborn session 2 years ago, along with family pictures in between. It was so much fun to go back and document the littlest guy. I can’t wait to start meeting new babies in the Chicago area, but am so happy to have so many connections back in MN. Thankful for all of the wonderful people back there!
