I’ve learned an incredible lesson lately. I love photography, every part of it, but there is something about newborns that just puts me over the moon. I love the smell of a newborn, I love the look on a mom’s face as she looks at her baby, and the look on dad’s face when he looks at both of them, I love the fight some babies put up…and I win! I don’t mind getting pooped on, peed on, puked on…it’s part of the job. I love snuggling a newborn, swaddling a newborn, seeing the vast differences in each baby I get to meet…overall, babies are my weakness and are amazing! A lot of this could be due to the fact that I am a mommy of 3 of my own babies, with one on the way, but to capture them in their most vulnerable, tiny, innocent state is something that will never grow old for me. It is my passion, my drive and my love! This sweet little boy is the baby of a family very dear to me! Our husbands are on staff together at our awesome church, we went to college together, and momma and I played in the church nursery as babies together! Of course we don’t remember that, but we sure were told about it! It’s so fun to get to see newborns I have photographed each week and watch how they grow. I hope you enjoy a few photos of Judah, as much as I do!
